Dan has over 16 years of application development and technology experience, focusing on rules based-systems for the past 11 years. His experiences span a variety of industries, providing a solid foundation to analyze situations quickly and provide practical solutions that will fit the particular needs of the business. Dan takes a very pragmatic approach to analysis and design, taking into consideration the many business drivers, integration points and constraints of a given initiative to determine the most viable strategy.
By establishing a shared vocabulary based on the client’s business domain, Dan can express rule identification in common terms and examples that can be understood by all project members. Leveraging InRule’s ROAD Discipline (Rules Oriented Architecture and Application Development), he will facilitate sessions to categorize rules, identify conflicts and redundancies, ensure consistency and re-usability, and meaningfully capture the business intent. He uses that knowledge to architect a solution and integrate it into the final application.
