The latest version of the InRule BRMS introduces several significant new features to better support integration with web, mobile and cloud applications.

InRule 5 underscores the company’s strategy to empower users to author, test, manage, store and execute business rules anywhere – from the cloud, to mobile applications and on-premise. The latest version of InRule empowers customers to ‘pick a platform’ with the confidence that InRule will meet them there to help them manage the rules and calculations that power their businesses.

InRule 5 includes:

  • InRule for JavaScript: the only commercial BRMS that can execute natively in JavaScript; it packages business rules into executable JavaScript via a service to provide the flexibility to run rules on the client-side, server-side or both
  • InRule for Microsoft Azure: the first enterprise-grade BRMS with push-button deployment to Microsoft Azure, allowing developers and architects to leverage the performance elasticity of the cloud for greater agility

For enterprises that use Microsoft Dynamics CRM either as a CRM or as an application development platform, InRule for JavaScript allows complex business rules to be run directly in Dynamics CRM forms or in the tablet app in connected or disconnected mode.

InRule for Microsoft Azure goes beyond Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) by enabling Platform as a Service (PaaS), facilitating even greater developer productivity and utilization rates while decreasing time-to-market for applications. InRule for Microsoft Azure makes it easier than ever to integrate with Microsoft Dynamics Online, Salesforce, and other cloud-based platforms. InRule for Microsoft Azure supports Microsoft’s best practice of calling a service from CRM Online via an Azure-based service.
