TechEd North America 2011 InRule Technology was proud to be a Silver Sponsor of Tech•Ed North America 2011. Rules inspired many "aha" moments during demos and conversations in our "ROAD* Rules Guru Corner." *Rules Oriented Architecture & Application Design, Development and Deployment
Our team talked with thousands of attendees about how InRule can extend and enhance key Microsoft technologies. (Read more.)
Some notable discussions and questions we heard in the booth:
“I wish I knew about InRule earlier.” We heard this again and again from people who stopped by our booth. They were impressed with InRule’s rule authoring, management and execution – built specifically for .NET.
“Other rule engines just don’t get .NET.We spent at least a year trying to get [vendor name] to work but never could.” We heard this from several people who had tried and failed with other rule solutions. (Our customers typically get their first rule system up and running with InRule in a few months.)
“I spend too much time maintaining business logic.” Most of the developers we spoke with would like to cut down on the time they spend updating hard coded business logic. Sound familiar? InRule can help with easy rule authoring and self-service maintenance of business logic.
“We’d like to reuse common decision logic but still customize it where needed without losing control over it.” Architects liked the thought of centrally managing and reusing decision logic with InRule’s rule catalog.
“You really think business users can update code?!” Well no, not code; but many business users do successfully update business language rules. IT managers saw the value of shifting ownership and accountability to the business andsupporting better business decisions with consistent and transparent decision logic.
