InRule Extends the Power of Microsoft® BizTalk Server
InRule extends the power of BizTalk Server by empowering business analysts and business
users to easily author and maintain the complex and frequently changing business
rules that drive key decisions.
Microsoft BizTalk Server is a business process management (BPM) server that enables
organizations to automate and optimize mission-critical business processes that
span across applications, people, and organizations. irAdapter for BizTalk Server
allows BizTalk Server users to experience powerful rule authoring and verification
that is intuitive enough for business users, yet robust enough for developers.
BizTalk Orchestrations enable organizations to integrate complex processes across
organizations and platforms. Organizations with complex business logic or who want
to empower business users to author and maintain business rules need a more intuitive
authoring environment, more granular rule management, and a more robust business
rule engine for executing complex business logic than is included with BizTalk Server.
For these organizations, InRule provides the premier .NET solution for authoring,
management, and executing business rules.
Based on increasing demand from the BizTalk Server community, InRule now includes
support for BizTalk Server, providing authoring and management capabilities for
business users and allowing the execution of business rules from a BizTalk Orchestration.
There are three ways to call InRule from BizTalk Server:
- Create a custom, static .NET method and call it from an Expression
Shape.
- irAdapter for BizTalk Server, a BizTalk adapter that is included
with InRule.
- Generic static methods callable from the Expression shape available
in InRule.
By providing the ability for business analysts and business users to author and
maintain complex or frequently changing business rules, InRule extends the power
of BizTalk to a broader audience for more agile applications with less of a burden
on IT.
