OEM Customers
The OEM Program is a cornerstone of InRule's business model. For technology vendors
that wish to embed InRule business rules technology within their products, we have
established a formal OEM program that includes a flexible OEM licensing agreement
and cooperative marketing and cross-selling activities.
By embedding our business rule components,
software vendors profit from:
- Faster and more agile product development cycles
- Increased ability to customize products
- Capability to demonstrate how and why rules return the results they
do
Why ISVs choose InRule
Product development
- InRule has a small footprint, easily embedded and distributed.
- InRule was built from the ground up in C# to take advantage of the
component architecture of the .NET framework. Components are inherently "embeddable."
- The InRule authoring tool is written in our SDK. As a result,
authoring can be embedded into other applications, eliminating the need to support
and distribute the authoring environment.
- The repository SDK allows rules to be created "on-the-fly" to support
cases in which rules need to be dynamically created and executed within the engine.
Pricing
- InRule executives have worked extensively with OEMs and recognize
your need to maximize profit margins.
- Our flexible OEM pricing is based on an initial license fee and
royalty fees, which are based on a percentage of the revenue from the product(s)
in which InRule is embedded.
Cooperative Marketing and Cross-selling
Vertical applications are a very important part of our OEM initiative. We will help
cross-sell your vertical applications in which InRule is embedded - via our web
site, PR activities, and marketing support for industry events.
