AirTran Airways wanted to simplify the process of awarding A+ Rewards Program Credits
system by making and easily modify the rules for receiving credits. The A+ Rewards
Program is challenging and complex to manage because the program is constantly evolving
in partnerships and other promotions so the application had to be flexible and easy
to change.
AirTran powers its a+ Rewards Program system with InRule. Rewriting the complex
credit application took only one week; the application was put into production in
less than 45 days. Now rule changes can be deployed within ten minutes. In addition
to the fast implementation time, AirTran chose InRule because of the simple interface
for changing rules, ease of deployment, .NET compatibility, and web accessibility.

Triage – Technical Service
A world leader in air conditioning systems, Trane uses InRule to help its technicians
diagnose and fix problems. Hundreds of Trane technicians have InRule running locally
on laptops. The InRule rule application helps them determine the customer’s
problem and what parts they might need to correct it. Each time the technician connects
to their network, the application checks for changes to the rules. Any changes are
immediately downloaded to the laptop.
