AirTran Airways
wanted to simplify the process of awarding A+ Rewards Program Credits by making
and easily modifying the rules for receiving credits. Their customer rewards program
is challenging and complex to manage because the program is constantly evolving
in partnerships and other promotions so the application had to be flexible and easy
to change.
AirTran powers their A+ Rewards Program system
with InRule. Rewriting the complex credit application took only one week and was
completed during AirTran's evaluation period. Now rule changes can be deployed within
ten minutes. In addition to the fast implementation time, AirTran chose InRule because
of the simple interface for changing rules, ease of deployment, .NET compatibility,
and web accessibility.
