Kate McGowan - Marketing


Kate brings 20 years of technical and marketing experience in software/high tech to her role managing marketing efforts for InRule. Kate's software marketing background includes marketing communications, PR, and sales enablement for both start-up software vendors and established industry leaders, including Hewlett-Packard, Cognos, Andersen Consulting, and PLATINUM technology.

As Director of Marketing for two software start-up firms and for a large division of PLATINUM technology, Kate has successfully brought new initiatives and products to market, and rebranded existing products to increase sales and market share. Kate also has extensive experience managing media and analyst relations, helping gain exposure for companies at both the product and corporate level. Kate received her degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.
